
Proceeds of the sale of the donated new and lightly used items support construction of Habitat homes and keep hundreds of tons
of waste out of local landfills.
Items accepted as donations include:
- Air conditioners
- Appliances (7 years old or newer and in good working condition
- Architectural items (columns, mantels, antiques, etc.)
- Cabinets
- Countertops
- Doors (with and without frames)
- Electrical items (fuses, breakers, etc.)
- Fans (ceiling fans must have mounting hardware)
- Flooring (tile, new carpet, wood, laminate)
- Furnaces
- Furniture
- Garage doors and door openers
- Hand tools
- Hardware (hinges, bolts, door knobs, screws, nails, etc.)
- HVAC items
- Insulation
- Lawn tools
- Lighting
- Lumber
- Masonry (cinderblock, bricks, etc.)
- Paints and stains (new, unopened, non-rusted cans)
- plumbing items
- Plywood
- Power tools
- Roofing
- Sheet rock (wallboard, drywall in usable sizes)
- Siding
- Sinks
- Toilets
- Tubs
- Vents
- Wallpaper (in usable amounts)
- Window blinds
- Windows and screens
Items not accepted as donations include:
- Paint thinner or other hazardous or toxic chemicals
- Broken or unframed glass or mirrors
- Pesticides (liquid or powder)
- Opened paint
- Soiled carpeting
- Single pane windows
- Baby items
- Mattresses or bedding
- Clothing
- Items in unusable condition
